Fall Break Fun

Today we went to a local apple and pumpkin picking farm with the boys. Chet has fall break this week, so it was wonderful to do something together as a family (besides church!)
A few memories:

Deedo was crazy for the apples. He even tried to bite an apple while it was still hanging on the tree. Once he finally got one of his own, he wouldn't let go of it. Even if it was covered in dirt.

Sharks loved feeding the animals, completely without fear. He even reached into the cage to pet the camels. Last year he panicked. He also really enjoyed the tractor ride; last year, he screamed the whole time. It is nice to see the growth a year brings, even in something so simple.

My memories from last year were of a relaxing time, picking apples slowly and wandering around the pumpkin patch with Sharks. At that point, Deedo wasn't even 3 months old, so I carried him in the Ergo the whole time. Oh, how things have changed. Not so relaxing this time around. Very fun, but oh so different with two little ones to chase after and carry, though I'll be honest, Chet did most of the chasing.

We have a picture of Chet and I from last year, so I made sure to take another one this year. Turns out, Chet was wearing the exact same shirt both times. (Just to show our support for Niedlov's, even from afar.)

See? Same shirt! (This year above, last year below.)

And finally, the family picture. Once again, check out the difference a year makes.

Your family is so good at traditions... I really appreciate that about you!

Is Chet also wearing the same flannel?

Glad you got some good time together!

Apparently his whole outfit is his pumpkin picking uniform, not just Neidlov's.
